Lionel Messi is also a doubt for the game on Tuesday as Ernesto Valverde plans to rest several of his big-name players, with the Catalans already assured of a place in the knock-out stage.

Valverde said: “I don't know if we'll have Lionel Messi out there for two games in three days.
