Ninety People (90) Needed To Build A Self Sustaining Community Read More Here by seunmichaels(m): 9:25pm On Dec 11, 2018
The Problem:
My Fellow Nigerians, Lack of basic amenities and welfare has caused many to live in poor housing conditions and this has adversely affected the standard of living in Nigeria. These amenities and welfare are necessary for the survival of every Human being. As a Nigerian, I have learned that trusting in the Government initiatives can dash the hopes of many. Nigerians are known to be their own government in the sense that we provide our own electricity through a noisy generator, Gas for cooking, even down to disposal of waste. This does not stop the electricity providers from sending estimated bills despite not giving adequate electricity daily. So a Nigerian spends averagely ₦500 to ₦1,000 naira daily on Fueling his/her generator. This happens 7 days a week and 4 weeks in a month, particularly if the individual cannot endure being in the dark, or where businesses need to thrive. The monthly electricity bill ranges from ₦4,000 to ₦20,000 regardless of whether the light is constant or not. Many Nigerians are suffering and smiling. Many have lost hope, while a small fraction holds on to dreams of a better tomorrow. We can’t change the Government but we can build a self-sustaining Community here in Nigeria where there will be accountability and Transparency. This has led to the creation of United Hope City.

The Solution:
United Hope City is a Community-based Project Launched by United Hope Ministry Concept. Hope City will be a community where all amenities will be available at an affordable price. It will be a place where the welfare of its residents is considered a top priority. The community will function with full Transparency and Accountability in every sector it runs. We are not a Real-Estate Company; we are an NGO whose focus is to Build a community that will be situated at Ibogun/Ifo, off Paapa Express Way. We are looking for the first 90 People who truly believe in this idea and want to see it come to life. Coming together to build a legacy should be our ultimate Goal. No one really knows where Nigeria is Heading. But in the meantime, we can be our brother’s keeper. The truth is individually we can’t achieve this, but collectively, with a good vision, we can achieve this beyond our wildest dream. Embracing the unknown and tackling something new can be very daunting, and that’s what change is about. The truth is a government that’s not for the people can never know the needs of the people or acknowledge its responsibility to the people.

I know we’ve been lied to, scammed and we ask who can we trust, and in our mind the answer is “Trust no One”.
But we are asking you to trust us now, we are asking you to believe in the idea that we can achieve a community that’s all about the people with full Transparency and Accountability.
