Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a commercial motorcyclist, Johnson Okon, 58 , for allegedly defiling his 14 - year- old daughter in the Ikorodu area of the state .

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, said during a press briefing on Tuesday that the victim’ s mother did not believe her daughter when she informed her of the incident , adding that the mother ’ s inaction prompted the victim to seek refuge in Okon friend’ s house.

Imohimi said , “ The command ’ s Gender Unit is investigating a case of defilement reported by a 14 - year -old girl against her father , Johnson Okon, 58 , of Charismatic Road, Abule Berger , Ikorodu .
