This is very pathetic. A group of boys gang raped a teenage girl on her way coming from Buan community in Khana local government area of Rivers state. 

According to reports, the hoodlums who perpetrated the evil act - wore masks on their faces so as to avoid be recognized by their victim. 

They were said to have kidnapped the girl who hails from Kwawa community and forcefully took her away to where they successfully raped her.

Concerned youths who went for the girl's rescue were also attacked and injured by the same gang of rapists, according to reports. 

The matter has been reported at Bori police station and investigation is ongoing to apprehend the culprits.

It's not an excuse, but it still shouldn't be separated from the reasons. Yes, it's the responsibility of the rapist to control his urge for sex, but this doesn't mean that there isn't an underlying cause. Why would you dress indecently without thinking of the effects it would have on the opposite sex? People's minds are fragile and can easily cling to things, the inability to possess these things after much attempts can lead to frustration, this then results to an outburst of hormonal disorderliness. In short, I'm not saying indecent dressing is the only cause of rape, but it is a major factor.
