I'd almost forgotten that I wrote this post.
Spoke to a tech-preneur friend of mine. His opinion is, we just don't have enough people working on technology in Nigeria. In his view there is lots of room for the industry to grow, if people can worry less about making money wink

I believed playing games had helped me as martinosis opined, especially games that had to do with finding clues (what the ordinary eye will not see).
poor IT curriculum in our primary and secondary school has affected the young and the old usage of technology even our university curriculum on IT is wack

This is kind of the same characteristic of everywhere in the world.

Anyway, it looks like 2016 is signaling a new dawn. I've never seen a busier year for tech, and so much underground activity, since I left school and started working in the industry. Starting with Zuck's visit.
