The time has come and Nigeria must establish a social police because of the high rate of social vices,unrest and antisocial behaviours of Nigerians on the social media and in real life.it is time.
i have observed that the social media has been abused by the citizens of Nigeria and widely by politicians and 3rd tier media users all with the guise of craving attention,credibility without thorough consideration taken about destruction of a persons image,a persons privacy,a medias image or a company's stance.
Fraud,scams and false information have been published from even true media houses and the worst people targetted are young minors who imitate the so called celebrities.what can a social police do?
The social police function would be to arrest persons or group of persons exhibiting antisocial behaviours in the society at any time and detain them after rehabilitation.Antisocial behaviours are bullying,thuggery,robbery,smoking,disruption of social functions without genuine grieviances.

Housing and institution of accesories to crime and sponsorship of crime.
Antisocial people must be arrested for a time and released.These are people who are not ready to embrace peace or development.They are partial to a good cause and would stop at nothing in creating a menance to themselves and to the society for no genuine just cause or grieviances.
The lead and train minors to become like them.They must be arrested and rehabilitated so that their influences over the minors can be converted into a good influence.
The social police must have a good profile database to input 1st time offender details.
The social police must convert criminals into anticriminals by using their knowledge to enhance anticrime activities and security.
it is these police that can change the youthful mindset and put a stop to the wayward social lifestyle.moral decandence must stop.
The social police would work online to scrutinize politicians comments,contributions and dialogue within that descend into religious,tribal or race.
