It appears the the Nigerian Judiciary is in no mood to tolerate the excesses of the Nigerian police Force.

Recall today that the Nigerian police after 2 failed attempts to keep Deji Adeyanju behind Bars and knowing fully well that the appeal court will not bend it's rules arraigned him before a Kano state Magistrate court knowing fully well that a Magistrate court lacked Jurisdiction to entertain a suit relating to murder for which the accused have been discharged and aquitted.

The misguided Magistrate did their bidding and remanded Deji till Feb 6 .

But the Nigerian Judiciary will never bow to any tyrant old or young , they have always stood on the side of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.


The High court in Jabi orders IMMEDIATE release of Deji Adeyanju from Kano prison.

Justice Sanchi Declares as follows:

There is no fresh allegation against Prince Deji Adeyanju, neither are there new facts.
Release the applicant.
Relase him on bail immediately

I have seen on some other threads/topics where buharideens have attempted to justify the persecution of D.A.

none of the buharideens has made any sensible point on the matter beyond saying DA talks too much & insulted buhari & his supporters or made comments likely to cause unrest. but do those allegations tally with what DA has been arrested for?

besides, the matter DA is being harassed for involved about 4 or 5 people, how come others have not been heard of?

has the police invited them? is there a warrant for their arrest?

DA may have a boisterous attitude, but that is not a crime. unless the police are able to provide new evidence on the matter, DA should be allowed his freedom.
