Tinubu Is Behind Okorocha's Troubles - APC Source by Naijiant: 5:47pm On Dec 22, 2018
Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, who completes his second term next year, was taunted by Adams Oshiomhole, the chairman of Okorocha’s party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) at a rally yesterday for the APC governorship candidate Hope Uzodinma.

Okorocha has become ostracised from his own party following his failure in installing his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu, as the APC candidate for governor. This failure has resulted in Nwosu defecting to the Action Alliance (AA) and now contesting on that platform.

Okorocha has found himself in the strange position of running for senate under the APC, while supporting Nwosu’s AA bid with state funds. An APC source has informed Naijiant.com that Bola Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos State, is behind the Imo State governor’s troubles. Tinubu wanted to “make sure Okorocha is rendered politically irrelevant” for 2023.

Tinubu is APC’s fall guy. He takes the blame for every crisis that erupts in the party and still find a way to remain calm. Very soon, governor Yari of Zanfara state will also blame him for the crisis in the state chapter. Asiwaju is really every politicians delight. He’s who most political leaders want to be; the leader whose hand is in everybody’s cookie jar.

How and why?

Okorocha's misfortune is as a result of all the dangerous prayers Imolites have poured on his head.

His harassment of the church and the death of a 10yr old boy killed in cold blood by military men he brought to disperse traders from their businesses...

This is just the beginning o grin

It baffles me how they all try to rope him into every narrative. Tinubu did not cause the fallout between Rochas and his deputy. He didn't ask him to alienate some other important and influential party stakeholders in the state including civil servants, the clergy and pensioners. Odiegwu o.

Tinubu on everyone's lips.

A politician who last held any significant political office in 2007, yet those in power today still have to contend with him.

Whoever said you need a political office to remain relevant.

PDP started the nonsense and aggrieved APC members simply went ahead with the narrative. Tinubu was not on the ballot in 2015 but PDP produced a 30 minutes propaganda video to attack him. They paid millions to NTA and AIT to be airing the video on daily before the election. He is easily an identifiable threat to the political ambitions of many people in and outside of APC hence, the unwavering attacks.

Anyone with half a brain knows this is the whole truth.
1. Okorocha is accepted in the North more than any Southern APC members.
2. He is more of a Northerner than IBO, was born, raised, schooled and still has massive followership in the North.
3. Tinubu on the other hand is a mere tool for the Cabal. Senseble Northerners views him with great distrust. so Its very easy to see why Tinubu and Fashola would want Okoroacha out of the picture.
The greatest winner in all of the drammer is prolly the people of Imo. I was there recently and know asper governor APC might clinch it, but as per Presidency? IMO has Atikulated.

You are right. Even Seyi Makinde (PDP governorship candidate in Oyo) also recently joined the gang by turning Tinubu into his campaign issue, and I'm like seriously It's similar to how these days some people have graduated from not just blaming Buhari for all of Nigeria' problems but also the problems of Ghana, Kenya and Uganda. E no even make sense.

Let the children of greed who are decieveing themselves read the above news. Okorocha is seen as a clog in Tinubus wheel. There is doubt Okorocha is very popular and well accepted by Northers. The more reason he should be pushed out.

Tinubu Re-organises APC Ahead Of 2023

“There is no pretence that Tinubu is gearing to run for the presidency after Buhari might have concluded his second term and the time for the ground work is now. So, the APC national leader has practically launched that bid with the game he played during the party’s governorship primaries.
“The calculation was to install his loyalists as governors in order to have a solid base as well as to cripple other party chieftains, who may pose a threat to his ambition in 2023. That informed his support for the party’s governorship candidates in Lagos, Oyo and most importantly, Ogun State. “Though he had his way during the primaries, the battle is yet to be over because those who lost out have not given up. That is why you see fresh alignments and realignments about two months to the elections. Ogun State is a typical example; you saw how APC lawmakers in the state and other chieftains dumped the party in their numbers.
“So, for Tinubu to keep hope alive ahead of 2023, he has to stay back home and make sure that his anointed candidates; Babajide Sanwo-Olu in Lagos, Dapo Abiodun in Ogun and Adebayo Adelabu in Oyo, emerge tops in the governorship elections though he is also working for Buhari’s re-election,” the source said. It would be recall that the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, recently urged the people of South-West to vote for President Buhari in the 2019 elections to guarantee a return of power to the region in 2023. Fashola said besides the massive investments by the Buhari administration on infrastructure across the country and in South-West in particular, the zone would benefit more politically by voting for Buhari.
The minister, who spoke in Yoruba language and with a proverb said: “Did you know that power is rotating to the South- West after the completion of Buhari’s tenure if you vote for him in 2019? “Your child cannot surrender her waist for an edifying bead and you will use the bead to decorate another child’s waist. A vote for Buhari in 2019, means a return of power to the South West in 2023. I am sure you will vote wisely.” Already, the APC national leader has a firm grip of the party’s structures in Lagos and Osun states, but he is working to take over those of Ogun, Ondo, Ekiti and Oyo states. Meanwhile, National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Lanre Isa-Onilu, who allayed fears over Tinubu’s position, said there is no doubt that the party’s national leader remains committed to the party and that whatever stand he takes would be in the interest of the party. His words: “I have not seen the report you are talking about, but in the first place, that could be a bit hypothetical as members of the campaign council have not been announced. “What you should be certain of, is that whatever position Asiwaju Bola Tinubu takes, as someone who has demonstrated uncommon leadership for this party, it must be in the best interest of the party.
“So, if for any reason it is true that Asiwaju said he was not going to chair the campaign council, by the time you get the details, you will know he has taken the best decision. “As l said, l have not seen that report and l don’t know the reasons he gave and in any case appointments have not been announced as far as the council is concerned. That is why l said it is hypothetical, but l am at peace and nobody in the party will lose sleep because they are certain that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is working 24/7 in the best interest of the party.”

His political party is in power after 16 years of mind numbing opposition. Obviously and unfortunately, it is not surprising that he has a say.

This is the biggest trash I have seen yet in this forum.

So you don't know that Ajimobi of Oyo would prefer a Tinubu stooge over anything PDP produces?

Did you hear or read about what Ajimobi said about Tinubu's choice over Secondus?

This forum is full of clowns.
