Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo has made a U-turn on his bid to contest in the NDC Ayawaso West Wuogon Primaries. The actor picked up his forms on Monday to contest 4 others in the primaries. Few days after picking the forms, he’s reversed his decision. Apparently he is not a registered voter in the Ayawaso West Wuogon. The constitution states that a person shall not be qualified to be a candidate for the office of member of Parliament unless he is resident in the constituency for which he stands as a candidate for election to Parliament or has resided there, for a total period of not less than five years out of the ten years immediately preceding the election for which he stands or he hails from that constituency. This is how politics should be played! A country where a constitution is respected and obeyed! John Dumelo stepped down! But if such is to happen in Nigeria, they will go and hire SANS to fight the constitution which is in clear terms  You will see some sycophants and zombies defending the indefensible! Propaganda will start flying here and there! Battle of words will begin! Excuses will suddenly grow wings! Cabals go dey do their own for background! The worst of ALL after all the drama, the accused will still retain the position! As if that is not enough, the person who dare raised the observation is in trouble! His life is in danger! See the way Alex Badeh was just killed like a fowl on a Nigerian soil and just like that it's a closed issue! But when they were looking for one of their own in a pond, the whole social media was agog! Nigerian leaders/politicians should visit countries like this and learn! They really have alot to learn! They hardly deserve to be called "The giant of Africa" while the humbled tge "Davids of Africa" keep stoning them with behaviours worthy of emulating!
