pls i need help on how to upload a zip file (template) to a web page. each time i tried it, once i visit the website all i see is the zip itself and i have to double click before it open. |

Bros this is an indication that you are new to the business of web site design. Well if you are using templates that you have downloaded, u must first unzip it to get the separate files such as images folder "index.html" page and may be CSS files. They are all there to help u easily design ur site After you are don with unziping it, u can now upload ur files using FTP clients which is quicker or file manager which is tasky. meanwhile, if you are using a control panel like cpanel. it is fastest to zip up the entire folder structure of the site. upload it (faster than using ftp to upload single files), then use the file manager of cpanel to unzip it online. |
