Obasanjo Approves Ejike Chukwu As 2019 Imo Governor Under ADC Amist Ohakeem by btvnigeria(m): 8:50am On Dec 25, 2018
Former president olusegun Obasanjo finally approved the candidacy of Ejike Chukwu of the oil producing area of IMO state in the forthcoming 2019 governorship election in IMO state.
This rumour clotted the airwaves as the battle between the big wings in the state deepens on who runs under what political party.
This and other political moves are coming on the news headlines in IMO state amid the choice for an acceptable candidate that can beat the PDP and APC forces in the state.
The PDP and APC candidates are already closed up in a serious court litigations that will agenda for a long term battle in court and that will not go down well with the candidate wining and also concentrating on the developmental Strads for the state.
The state has already passed through a very hard times of lack of the payments of workers salaries overtime by the governor in question who is accused of holding carnivals that brings nothing on the table of the people of the state.
Imo is already addressed as a poverty state where white elephant projects have dominated every mission of the administration in power for eight years now.
The people are said to have seen hell with an autjouritians system of leadership where on man controls the executive and the legislature at the same time.
Democracy in IMO state suffered a total epileptic supply in values such as the respect for the rule of law and impunity by the handlers of authority over the past eight years.
Obasanjo is said to have been so much worried and decided to stand up in unifying the broken walls of true leadership and Democratic values which he also did in delta and bayelsa states.
Imo state needs a clean personality to wake up every broken pillars of development without any impunity and fovourism which invites the roles of godfatherism in question.
President Obasanjo is still I'm control of Some states in Nigeria and he has said it time without number that he will surely stand to protect democracy in every way he can as far as he still has life in him.
Obasanjo is a man that has a very large control in the politics of NIGERIA and can not be push aside most especial as we move towards the 2019 general elections.
In 2007 he supported musa yaradua and he won, in 2011 he supported Goodluck Jonathan and he won as a minority and also in 2015 we saw how he shift base to support president buhari and he won. So weather anybody likes it or not when Obasanjo says its you that means there's something good about that person that the people needs to see.
He has officially said its Ejike Chukwu for IMO fgoir the 2019 governorship ahead of fatty men like chief Ikedi Ohakeem, chief Ararume, former deputy speaker Emeka Ihedioha of the PDP and even the by force son in law of civil general of IMO politics himself, president Obasanjo said no to all of them and brought up a new horse to run the race of governorship using his new acquired political party called the Advanced Democratic Party ADC just like the way he has turned around to select Atiku to be Nigeria's next president.
The anointed son in law is Governor Rochas Okorocha of IMO state wasn't even in the picture of nominated individuals to be the governor of IMO stare when the meeting was called in ota the mansion where the political decision on who runs IMO in 2019 we held some weeks back.
The decision to use a man of value and integrity such as Ejike Chukwu to destroy the wrong formulated political forces of men like Ararume, Ikedi and Rochas Okorocha was so perfect because the IMO people have suffered in the hands of these men over 20 years that democracy have returned to Nigeria.
They have held power in the state and refused to bring development to the people. They couldn't even provide ordinary basic amenities for the IMO people, no good roads, healthcare facilities and so on. All the people have seen are impunity, deceptive educational scheme that have not allowed the people excel as the best star when it comes to weac and jamb.
We have recorded failure and breakage in government where state resources are said to be used to built status of criminals from other foreign nations and elements of disunity.
We saw a self authoritive democracy where everyone is afriad to speak when the wrong this GS are done by government.
Obasanjo saw all these and more that's why he decided to endorse Chukwu as the next governor of IMO state and they people will start seeing the good of Chukwu's personality running under the ADC party.
Chukwu will clean up IMO state and a greater path of integrity and credibility will have a life in IMO again.
Imo state was once on list of the best states in Nigeria when the people never choose a man with a family styled democracy pattern as governor.
With Chukwu Lucky Ejike as IMO governor 2019, the people will enjoy a quality leadership that will take the state to another direction where everything will be good for the betterment of the state.
Obasanjo approves Ejike Chukwu as Imo Governor under ADC
