Ibom Air Crj 900 fuel efficient modern jet have been spotted in Calgary Canada in route to Uyo, Nigeria

Ibom Air accquired 3 CRJ 900 for commercial air services in Nigeria. 2 of the jets are ready and will be landing Victor Attah Airport in Uyo, Nigeria before the end of 2018, while the third jet will arrive end of feb 2019.

The aircraft are adorned in the orange and white color which is the official color of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

IMO AIR has all their aircrafts parked in various Rochas compounds in Abuja, Lagos, Jos and in his village in Ideato.

The state government already owns a private Jet bought by the previous administration.
So the first family doesn't need to fly an 86 seat aircraft.

I guess you don't actually the difference between a wet and
dry lease, a wet lease does not encourage local content as all the operating crew of the aircraft (pilots , cabin crew) will all be expatriates . On the other hand a dry lease only involves leasing of the aircraft, all attendant crew are to be sourced by the operator.

Suedo private jets for the politicians.

The State Government has a private Jet for that already.

I am worried, can Akwa Ibom Govt managed this. I fear this may be another investment down the drain in a few years to come. I would have been happier if it was a partnership with an investor(real investor that put his money in it). I hope it is.
