President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday arrived Sokoto State to pay his condolence to the family of late Second Republic President, Shehu Shagari. Buhari was received by the state Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu and former Governor of Sokoto State, Senator Aliyu Wamako. Disclosing this, Buhari’s Personal Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, said the president signed the visitors register. She tweeted: “PRESIDENT BUHARI IN SOKOTO President Muhammadu Buhari paid a condolence visit to the Family of Pres. Shehu Aliyu Shagari. “On hand to receive and accompany him were Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, Kebbi State Governor Atiku Bagudu and Former Governor of Sokoto State Senator Aliyu Wamako. “President Buhari signs visitor’s register after his condolence visit to the family of Late President Shehu Shagari in Sokoto on 30th Dec 2018.
