Today is the last day of the month and year 2018; tomorrow is the beginning of another new year, please make it count.

Don't just go about making new year resolutions, live intentionally.

Don't just go about drinking and eating, seek to do the will of the Father.

Don't always assume, ask. If not clear enough, ask again. Keep asking until you are certain you understand and know.

Don't always be quick to cast blames, look inward. You might just be the guilty party.

Don't ever believe you can't, push yourself until you get it!

It's not all about the Benz, Toyota and Lexus can also be a good start!

Be specific about what you want for the new year. Never have too bogus a goal, that you become confused before the middle of the year.

Set checks and measuring parameters to help you ascertain how far you have fared along the way. Maybe monthly, bimonthly or even weekly, sit back once in a while and ask yourself where you are headed and how far you have come. What is lacking? What should you change? What character or trait should you drop or add?

And while you are at it, ensure that only goals that are achievable and realistic are made! Don't go hoping to buy a Benz when you are yet to finish your polytechnic/university education or even go for Youth Service! Don't tell yourself that your weight will drop from 120KG to 80KG before February 2019; that's absurd! Setting such unrealistic goals will eventually lead to frustration!

Be time conscious! For each goal set, add a timeline to it! The year 2019 is long. Break it down. Have daily, weekly and monthly goals! Live your life as if today will be your last! Stop procrastinating!
