Malcom, Draxler And 6 Players Who Need A January Transfer by Alexcharlz(m): 7:34pm On Dec 31, 2018
The January transfer window will see several high profile moves within the next few weeks, but which player do you think needs to make a switch to get their career back on track.

Julian Draxler
Draxler’s future has rarely been up for debate since he moved to the French capitals with Paris saint Germain.

The German international has since been limited on both time and chances as he slowly fell behind the likes of Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappe.

The 25 year old has featured for PSG for just 975 minutes in 15 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring three goals and providing three assists.

Julian Draxler is a talent most European clubs would love to see leading the ranks. But somehow, he’s been surplus to requirements at the French capitals since the very day he stepped foot into it.

Would you love to see Draxler at your club?

Mesut Ozil
Mesut Ozil’s future still lies in the whirlwind as the midfielder remains in a state of uncertainty with new manager Unai Emery.

Ozil has seen himself fall out of favour and the starting lineup in recent weeks and have been rumoured to be set for a switch in the future.

The 30 year old has been rumoured to have interested the likes of Bayern Munich and PSG, but no deal has been struck yet with the winter window certain to present opportunities.

Eric Lamela
Tottenham Hotspur winger Eric Lamela is one talent who would probably do better with more opportunity.

The 26 year old has had limited playing time, falling behind the likes of Heung min son, Lucas Moura, Christian Erikson and Dele Alli in Pochettino’s starting list.

The winger has featured for just 564 minutes in 11 Premier League appearances, scoring four goals and providing two more assists for teammates.

With the talent he has, should Eric Lamela stay put at Spurs or seek greener pastures elsewhere?

Malcom
Malcom probably made the wrong choice choosing Barcelona over AS Roma in the summer window as rumours have already linked the winger with an early exit after less than six months at the club.

The Brazilian has featured for just 97 minutes in five La Liga matches and doesn’t come into contention with the likes of Lionel Messi, Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho.

A loan move could however favour the 21 year old who has age at his side as compared to some of his competitions at Barcelona.

Alvaro Morata
Between Maurizio Sarri and Eden Hazard in false nine, it’s definitely finished for Alvaro Morata at Chelsea.

Since making a controversial switch from Real Madrid, Morata hasn’t really seemed to kick it off at the London blues leading to the club signing Oliver Giroud who has joined the ranks rather than help matters.

Morata has been linked with a return to Serie A side AC Milan in a move which could see Gonzalo Higuain move to the opposite direction.

Adrien Rabiot
Adrien Rabiot leaving Psg is all but certain. When he makes the move however is a mistery we are yet to uncover.

The midfielder has had any form of contract extension with the French club terminated, meaning he will be leaving the club at most, when his current contract expires at the end of the season.

Rabiot has been a transfer prospect for the likes Barcelona, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Juventus who all see the midfielder as a possible major addition to the team.

Rabiot will now have to make the difficult choice on when to leave, how he leaves and who he eventually joins.

Isco Alarcon
Spanish playmaker Isco Alarcon and Real Madrid manager Santiago Solaris has been one major topic in La Liga since the manager took charge at the club.

Isco has seen his place in the first team stripped from him and playing time limited.

The playmaker claims he is happy at the club and will not consider moving in the January transfer window, but reports claim Isco may see himself out the door with European clubs set to battle for his signature in the winter window.

James Rodriguez
From the Ligue 1, to the Spanish La Liga, the Bundesliga and now rumours linking him with a switch to the Premier League. James Rodriguez is definitely having a tour to all top five leagues.

The midfielder moved from Real Madrid to Bayern Munich in search of playing time, but has seen himself drop once more in the pecking order since the start of the season.

Reports claims James Rodriguez could make a winter move to the Premier League with several clubs said to have tabled interests to Bayern Munich for the Columbian star.
