In a crisis there has lingered since 2017 and caused lots of bloodshed in the predominantly francophone speaking country, the republic of Cameroon led by Paul Biya has finally has hope of peace following the new year address by the President which called for peace and end to hostilities between the both sides....

While the President has refused this alternative in the past and toed the paths of Nigeria's President Buhari who has declared the secessionist terrorists, this new move seems to be a beacon of hope for the highly marginalised and impoverished southern region (Anglophone speaking region)
