Okay, this is more of what I'm doing today than a trade call. Someone here might recall me advising new traders to have a demo account as well as a live account, well, it is for times like this.

I have a long order on GBPUSD with target at 1.2443

This is not very much, but I am not very confident of my analysis to take this trade on my live account. I could as well do nothing and see how the market plays out, but I have decided to place it in my demo instead.

I will not advise anyone to take this trade. My alerts for sure trades are very straightforward.

i noticed you held your oyel SHORT Trade over the weekend as a swing trader u be with SL as usual, u left the trade to run with already positive gain of about 400pips on friday

with this weekend gap, what happen to the SL? was d trade close with d SL or jump d SL, if price did the later what happen after that cos there was a reversal of about 500pips

I discovered that since the gap jumped the stop loss, it will end at the point the gap started, having exceeded the stoploss. Eg, if stop loss is 25.70 and the gap opened at 31.00, the trade will exit at 31.00 and not 25.70.

But for a pending order that is meant to be executed at Buy 25.00 and the market opens at 23.50 which is a loss, the market automatically starts counting your losses from 25.00 your supposed entry point to 23.50, which is approximately 150 pips against you. That's it
