I attended the wedding and still find this unbelievable. This is very very super sad, imaginee his wife and family right now. May God continue to guide and protect us from harm while granting the families of this very sad tragedy the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

I gave a free lift to one officer of the Nigerian Army yesterday. He lamented his poor work condition and poor pay. After 12 years in service, he earns N67k but without lodging which would have taken the pay to N76k. That is what he would have earned if he has not been living in the barracks. He actually said the only benefit of the job is the honor people accord the uniform.

Nigeria is the most careless and lacks maintenance culture.....The helicopter that crashed did crash because it was old,but because they failed to service it,despite it being due for service.....
