Your club or country needs a goal to emerge champions and the game is tied at 1-1 ,Its 94+ minutes gone and there is an infringement at a dangerous position. Who would you call upon to take the free kick when your team is full of dead ball specialist..

1.Roberto Carlos

2.David Beckham

3.Jay Jay Okocha

4.Andre Pirlo

5.Messi

6.Ronaldo

7.Ronaldinho

8.Juninho

Incomplete scenario.

Juninho is the obvious choice anyway whatever the distance, situation & position.

He is hands down the best and the most consistent freekick taker ever.

Numbers don't lie.

Rating the others:
2. Pirlo
3. Beckham
4. Ronaldinho
5. Okocha

Roberto Carlos despite scoring some amazing freekicks is no freekick specialist. He is a gambler like David Luiz.

Adding Messi & Cristiano Ronaldo shows you are just one of those Indomie PlayStation fanboys that know nothing about football.

How can Messi and Ronaldo make the list when we have Nakamura, Del Piero, Platini, Rivaldo, Recoba, Figo etc?

Even in modern day football, Pjanic & Kolarov have better freekick conversion rates than Messi & Ronaldo.

Kids everywhere.

David Beckham is the best option for the scenario.

David beckam is only effective in long distance free kicks...Juninho is a professor, Ronaldinho is Assistant Professor of any sorta free kick...

Juninho all the way.
Finally, how would I have such a squad and be playing 1-1 at that time.
I will sack the coach

Just as he bent it against Greece in the qualifying race for Korea/Japan 2002.

Juninho is the best, then Beckham, then Ronaldinho and then Messi. Messi has more free kick goals than Pirlo, so I chose Messi over Pirlo. Pirlo makes everything beautiful, even free kick that he scores once in a while.
Re: 10 Seconds Left: Who Should Take The Free Kick ? by mezarddinny: 9:57pm On Jan 06, 2019
if juninho doesn't score it then it will lead to penalty or another free kick. ronaldinho and messi are on same level in free kicks, messi has improved so much, pirlo's free kicks are just beautiful even if he doesn't score them regularly

Ronaldo is not good at free kicks, he is not better than pjanic and hakan

presently, there is no better free kick taker than Leo messi

Messi free kick conversion rate is higher than that of Ronaldo presently.
Its a pity we don't have a free kick specialist in the Super Eagles since the exit of Okocha.I can remember watching Nig vs Cmr in Afcon quarter finals '06,even bfr he took the free kick we all shouted its a goal at the viewing centre.
