Op, take it to an engineer, the screen is damaged, so have it replaced..

It's not too expensive depending on how much you value the phone(about 13k to repair in Ibadan, could be lower if you are in Lagos)

S3 screen is 14 to 15k not to talk of S4 or S5.

It will be cheaper if your phone is the refurbished type

But you can give it a try.

Brother I am engineer in computer village ikeja Lagos. Samsung phones have two types of screen the original and the copy. The original is always expensive so most people using Samsung phones who have screen issues go for the "copy" screen because it's cheaper. I fix the copy screen for 12k while the original for 26k. can u still access the fone? If yes, then your screen is okay. Its called screen flickering and a default factory issue with all S5. Just remove ur screen brightness from auto, and adjust the brightness manually. I hope this helps. Except you av a broken screen.

don't use auto brightness again. U can adjust it manually as u want.
