Democracy is finally laid to rest in rivers state as the governor orders the immediate suspension of the only voice in the rivers state house of assembly, Honourable Martyns Mannah, the member representing Ahoada east constituency 1, on the next sitting.

From multiple sources in the state government house we've been informed of a standing order by governor Wike to the state house of assembly leadership to suspend the lawmaker representing Ahoada east constituency 1 in the Rivers state house of assembly, whom after the presentation of the 2019 budget by gov Wike granted a press interview and described the 2019 budget as another scam set to be melted on Rivers people and called on the state to inquire from the government how the 2018 budget was utilised.

Gov wike wants to make Hon Mannah whom the people of the state see as the only voice in the State house of assembly another casualty in his tyranny government, Rivers people will also recall that Hon Chikere Byke Wanjoku, member representing Ikwerre LGA in the state house of assembly was also suspended for speaking up for Rivers people..
