Fibroids are the most frequently seen tumors of the female reproductive system. Fibroids, also known as uterine myomas, leiomyomas, or fibromas, are firm, compact tumors that are made of smooth muscle cells and fibrous connective tissue that develop in the uterus. It is estimated that between 20 to 50 percent of women of reproductive age have fibroids, although not all are diagnosed. Some estimates state that up to 30 to 77 percent of women will develop fibroids sometime during their childbearing years, although only about one-third of these fibroids are large enough to be detected by a health care provider during a physical examination.

In more than 99 percent of fibroid cases, the tumors are benign (non-cancerous). These tumors are not associated with cancer and do not increase a woman's risk for uterine cancer. They may range in size, from the size of a pea to the size of a softball or small grapefruit. Many women who have fibroids are not aware of it because they are very small and cause no problems. Other women have symptoms because of the size and location.

Fibroids according to their location as:
• " intramural "when they grow amidst the muscle layer of the uterus.
• " subserous "when they grow on the outside of the uterus below the peritoneum.
• " submucous "when they grow just below the endometrium.
• " intraligamentary "when they occur in the connective tissue side of the uterus.
• " cervicalmyoma "when they grow into the muscle layers around the cervix (cervix).

Causes of Fibroid in Women
Although it is very common, little is known about causes of fibroid. It is known that the female sex hormone estrogen promotes the growth of fibroids. The content of estrogen in the body may increase or decrease depending on various factors, which includes emotional state and premenstrual condition of a woman.

Uterine fibroids are growths that develop from a cell of the uterine muscle. They are also called leiomyoma or fibroids. Both the size and the shape and location of fibroids can vary greatly.

These fibroids can be found in the uterus, on its surface or in the uterine wall, or can be connected to it only by a stalk outside the uterus.
Fibroids vary in size from very small up to a size 9-10 cm. In their growth, they may affect both the uterine cavity and the outside of the uterus. Some fibroids grow symptomatically or asymptomatically until they fill the entire part or even a large part of the abdominal cavity.
Fibroids are rare in women under age 20, but common with women of between 30-40 years of age, but can also occur in other age groups. It’s found more frequently in black than in white women and tends to be hereditary. Research shows that it’s common with women that consume more of red meat and alcohol.

Symptoms
When it comes to symptoms, they often arise in any of these forms:
• Abnormal changes in menstrual cycle
• Increased bleeding
• Prolonged or frequent menstruation
• Pain during menstruation
• Bleeding outside the menstrual
• Anemia from excessive blood loss (anemia)
• Pain in the abdomen or back
• Pain during intercourse
• Changes in micturition (urination), e.g. urinating
• Blockages, pain at intestine, changes in digestive

Diagnostics
The first signs of fibroids are usually discovered during a screening of the pelvis called Pelvic Scan. A number of other studies may provide additional information on fibroids.

Natural Treatment for Fibroid
Though, surgery is the most popular intervention/quickest way of getting rid of fibroids but may not prevent a re-occurence. Once a fibroid becomes symptomatic then it needs to be taken care of and in most cases it is better managed with natural supplements instead of surgery first. These products are not drugs but supplements to give your body needed nutrition which will make the fibroid shrink and finally eliminate it from your womb. They have worked wonderfully in the life of the people including women that found out that they have fibroids during pregnancy. Fibroids can be a cause of infertility in women and should therefore be treated as early as possible. The natural alternative supplements for fibroid treatment are Golden Hypha Hypha and Reishi.

P.S. We do recommend detoxification of the body system before any treatment to enhance result.
