Our client in the downstream energy sector urgently requires the services of a Cashier;

Position: Cashier

Location: Lagos, Ota, Onitsha

Qualification: OND, HND, Bachelor’s Degree Or its equivalent.

Job Purpose:
We are looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.
Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions.

Responsibilities not limited to:
Managing transactions with customers using cash registers, POS etc.
Collecting payments whether in cash or credit
Manage transactions with customers
Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies

Experience: 0 – 2 years.
Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales is a plus
Basic PC knowledge
Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
Good math skills
