There are indications that some APC state governors were absent at the inaugural campaign council meeting of the ruling party

Some state governors who are expected to serve as coordinators in their respective regions for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council for the 2019 election, are absent at the inaugural meeting which is said to be underway at the State House conference center, Abuja.

President Muhammadu Buhari who is the chairman of the council said that the high-profile meeting was targeted to look into and approve the structure and operational modalities of the campaign, The Sun reports.
APC bigwigs who attended the meeting were Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the co-chairman of the campaign council, the APC national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, the deputy chairman of the council.
Minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, the director general of the campaign team, Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora, the director general (operations), and Waziri Bulama the deputy director general (coordination) were in attendance.
Also in attendance were the zonal directors for the campaign council, northwest: Senator Aliyu M. Wamakko, northeast: Senator Muh’d Ali Ndume, north central: Senator Abdullahi Adamu, southwest: Sola Oke, southeast: Sharon Ikeazor and south-south: Senator Godswill Akpabio.

Others who attended the meeting included Senator George Akume, vice chairman of north and Senator Ken Nnamani, vice chairman south.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Brigadier General (retd) Mohammed Marwa, a former military governor of Lagos and old Borno states, on Wednesday, January 9, refuted claims that there was conflict between the two campaign councils of the All Progressives Congress (APC) .
Speaking with newsmen in Abuja on the distinction between both groups, Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) and the Women and Youth Presidential Campaign (WYPC), Marwa said: “This is definitely a new addition to the political lexicon in Nigeria for two presidential campaign organisations, for the same platform, to run side by side."

*Who is APC deceiving that they are different from PDP?*

Looking at The APC Presidential campaign council constituted yesterday, this is what I found;

1. Vice Chairman North: Sen. George Akume- PDP Governor for 8years.

2. Vice Chairman South: Sen. Ken Nnamani- Former Senate President under PDP

3. D.G: Rotimi Ameachi: 8 years Speaker House of Assembly and 7 years Governor under PDP. Spent 15 of the 16 years in PDP.

4. North West Zonal Director: Aliyu Wammakko- PDP Governor for 8years and Senator for 3 years.

5. South West Zonal Director: Olusola Oke- Former PDP National legal adviser for 9years.

6. South South Zonal Director: Godswill Akpabio- Former SSG, former Governor for 8 years and until 4months ago, was the PDP minority leader in the Senate.

None of these people spent less than 13years as PDP members. Mathematically, that is 81% of the 16 years of destruction

In one breathe, you say PDP destroyed Nigeria for 16 years. In another breathe, you need these same destroyers to help you to "change" Nigeria.
