Hey guys, been thinking of getting my first car, and my mind has been on the Toyota solara, I like it's sportish look. My only worry being that it isn't a very common car where I live, I just don't see it around a lot, I will like to ask the more experienced folks if there is a reason to this, perhaps it is suspectable to some certain faults I do not know of.

How easy to maintain is this car?

I will still be a student for the next one year, I don't want something that will burn a hole in my pocket, and can say 1 million naira get me a good Nigerian used one?

Thanks in anticipation of your replies

Why not. As long as it's Toyota it must be good. Why you may not really find it around is basically because it's one door car. The engine is good and easy to maintain in terms of parts and fueling just like every other Toyota brand. As per price you can get within that bugdet 2003/2004 make. Enjoy

It's a 3.3 litre v6 engine, in my opinion I don't think it's advisable for a first time car user. In terms of fuel economy, it would definitely burn hole in ur pocket

You have been seeing it around,u jst didnt know its d same toyota camry.it is also referred to as the camry solara.difference is it doesnt have 4 doors cos its a coupe.you can either settle for the 4 plug or the 6 plug.it all depends on you.but i see no reason why i wld get a sports car with a 4 plug engine.(my own take).find it,buy it,enjoy your sporty ride.
