The beauty of democracy is that it offers everyone a choice. The choice to belong to any political party. The choice to vote for any candidate during elections. To many people, voting for the right candidate and political party is the best way to contribute in solving the socio, political economic problems of the nation. Therefore at a time like this, when the people of this nation are going to the poll to elect the best, the most credible and acceptable leaders of our people, how aware are you? We at WALESON group are good followers of these eminent and respected Nigerians since the past four years or so. Here in Lagos state, in words and action, they think about the best for Lagosians and deliver the best for them too. In other states where they are in control, they live up to their name – the PROGRESSIVES. Together, they are the ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC). Because of the trust and confidence we have in them, we decided to write this hand book. Purposely to advance their cause by creating the necessary awareness here in Lagos and in other states as the campaign for the 2019 general elections go on.

About four years ago: during the 2015 general elections in the three senatorial zones of Lagos, Lagosians overwhelmingly supported and voted for these patriotic Nigerians and their political party (APC). In fact, it was like a brick wall was erected which made it impossible for the candidates of other political parties to penetrate and win in those elections. But in Lagos west, the figurative electoral wall caved-in. some candidates that were not of APC stock entered and ran away with undue victory in some of the constituencies of this zone.

As a result of our believe and the inability of any group or political party to change or stop the winning streak of a Lagos based political party of which APC is, we have devoted a whole chapter of this book on the Lagos west and its people. At least to appeal to APC leadership, its candidates in Lagos west and the people of Lagos West that there will be no room for excuse if APC fails to sweep the polls in this highly heterogeneous Lagos west, moreso when other political parties see Lagos West as a fertile ground where they can cultivate, sow political seeds and harvest them during elections because of various reasons. Besides, this awareness project is for everyone. Whether in Lagos west, Lagos state or in other states of the federation. Because of its messages on elections, choice of candidates and political parties.
