Hello computer gurus in the house, I would sincerely appreciate anyone who can suggest a very good OCR(Image) to Word Converter (either free of Paid). I'm in dare need of it. The converters I've come across online haven't really been as much helpful as I would have loved.

There are 3 options.

#1 online2pdf (https://online2pdf.com/)
It is free and easy to use, you just need to upload your scanned PDF or images files and choose file language/output, a editable file will be created for you. The quality is good but not stable. Anyway, comparing with other online OCR tools, this one really does a better OCR job.

#2 cisdem pdf converter ocr (https://www.cisdem.com/pdf-converter-ocr-mac.html)
If you are looking for an affordable but good-performance OCR tool, Cisdem is a good choice, it is designed to convert all types of PDFs (native, scanned, protected) and images into 16 formats, with original formatting. It also builds in a PDF creator to allow users to create PDF from other files. But it cannot edit PDF files and there is only mac version.

#3 Abbyy FineReader (https://www.abbyy.com/en-us/)
If you have searched in google to find an outstanding OCR program, you shouldn't miss AbbyyFineReader, it brings high-quality OCR results, also offers extended features to manage PDF files. Even, you can directly turn papers into searchable and editable Word format. However, the price is high.
