The design adopted on the Honor Magic 2 is very appealing to the eye with its curve back glass design that reflects with light, a metal frame in-between the rear and front glass pulling both sides together and Honor designers/engineers employed a nano-scale optical coating technology. The device edges are all rounded from both the display and body making it look more elegant and appealing to eyes, the slider design helped in achieving a high body to screen ratio by hiding the front camera.

The slider mechanism feels like the old school devices if you ever used one but only this time around and it called the butterfly multi-track sliding mechanism, it is highly upgraded with a more durable and strong sliding process/mechanism and however, the slider has cut off the ability of the device having dust and water resistant but this does not affect the device in anyways (dust) but it is advised to always stay away from dusty environment when the device is being slid up.

Honor Magic 2 has 6 camera designs (3 front and 3 back), in-display fingerprint keeping the back smooth asides the vertically aligned back block-like camera.
