You can’t say guitar is guitar. What sound comes out of loose strings?
To make the best of it, it has to be tuned to deliver.
You are the one that knows the sound you want to produce and tuning your guitar is your responsibility.
This is 2019, what is the string that deliver sound in you? Are they loose? Who will fine-tune them?
Your attitude, self confidence, communication etc are they loose or fine-tuned?

You have been waiting and hoping for something to become better - the economy - what if it becomes better in 2019 (you have even prayed to God for a better economy), what will it offer you?
2019 will not offer you anything more than the previous years beyond an opportunity to express yourself. It is only a ground to sow your attitude and reap from that which you have sown.

Election is few weeks away. You want your party to win? You know who is the better person to lead our economy? You want your currency to appreciate in 2019?
You want leadership of the economy to become better? You just want a magical change, where everything will just be easy and available! right?
Are you waiting for all these?

These are not within your control. You are within your control, you can plan to become better. Whatever you are waiting for will never be beyond your perception. Improved you will alter your perception.
While you are waiting and hoping for better conditions, the banks are receiving more deposits and trading more, more businesses are starting, more estates are being developed and sold, land business is booming, the roads are congested- that means more vehicles and human beings coming into the cities, traffic is high in our airports (local and international), our seaports are experiencing the same. If everyone is waiting for what you are waiting for, everyone should be sleeping.

You complain of the leadership of the economy but the real leader within you and your control is left undeveloped. The leader of your economy is not developed, how will he and where will he lead you to? He will lead you wild - leads you by the weather; cold or hot, you change your thinking and attitude in the direction. It will lead you in fear, with lack mentality etc.
If left continually unattended to, it will eventually lead you to an island of ‘You Alone’ - self love, nobody cares for me and ‘I am a victim’ in conclusion.

No economy can make you a victim. You most likely can become a victim when you are selfish. You think about you and for you only. It is only what you don’t have you are after. You are a continuous seeker living a Small life in a small world.
But when you think about others and for others, you will have something to offer to them that will cause them to honor you with their demand and resources. You are exposed to a life beyond you and a world not limited by geographical boundaries.

Do you think your problem is the corrupt leader in the senate? What about the ‘you’ in the senate of your mind? What are you doing with all the resources available to or allocated to you? How have you used time? What about other resources that is available for you to drive and achieve your purpose? Have they been appropriated rightly?
The EFCC within you is already taunting you. You can’t influence or escape it. When you are corrupt or misappropriate the resources allocated to you, you will naturally be imprisoned - mostly in your mind before it is revealed in other areas of life, health, finance etc.
You have only one term in this office; are you mindful of this? Do you realize that what you do while in this office will determine everything else?

Don’t wish and wait for your guitar to give you a better sound, tune it, learn the playing, master it and deliver your mastery.

Don’t wish for a better 2019, work on the player. It is not the pitch that determines the winning rather the players and their playing.

Apply yourself to every moment and let every moment count
