There have been no indications that either of the two leading presidential candidates, APC Muhammadu Buhari and PDP Atiku Abubakar is preparing to honour the presidential debate scheduled for January 19. Recall that the Special Adviser to the President on Media, Femi Adesina had announced that his principal, President Buhari was still undecided about honouring the presidential debate. Recall also that the special adviser promised that Nigerians would be informed if the president makes a decision. Well, fast forward to today, 15th January which is barely 4 days to the debate, there has been no news from the presidency or the opposition on whether either of them will honour the January 19th presidential debate.
