Big Brother Naija, formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria, is a Nigerian reality competition television series, based on the Big Brother television franchise, in which 12 contestants live in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize worth $100,000 at the end of the show by avoiding being evicted from the house by viewers.

The first season of the show first aired on DStvChannel 37 from March 5 to June 4, 2006. The voting results were verified by the auditing company of Alexander-Forbes. A second season of the series premiered on January 22, 2017, and a third season debuted on January 28, 2018

The first season of the reality show saw 26-year-old Katung Aduwak emerging as the winner. The second and third season saw Efe Ejeba and Miracle Igbokwe respectively emerge winners of the $100,000 cash prize.

Requirements For BBNaija Registration
Interested applicants must possess the following;

A valid national ID card that’ll show clearly your state of origin, and date of birth.
Applicants must possess at least O'level like; WAEC and NECO.
Applicants MUST be at least 21 years of age.
Must be in excellent physical and mental health.
You must not now be a candidate for public office and if selected as a participant, you must agree not to become such a candidate until after the initial broadcast of all programs in which you appear.
