An oyinbo man walked into a jewelry shop and asked to try a gold necklace worth 632 US Dollars.

He then put on the necklace and stayed a few moments, he pretended to admire the necklace before sprinting to the exit. But his escape was foiled after the owner had locked the door when he became suspicious.

The thief handed over the necklace to the shop owner before the police arrived. He admitted theft and was remanded in custody.
