NNPC is very inefficient and has been abused over the years, but a man who enjoyed monopoly with inters at Onne before this administration opened the market for others to enter is not the man we can trust to sell it, not after how NITEL that was supposed to give MTN, Glo and the others a run for their money considering they already had locations nationwide.
What we want Atiku to do instead is to withdraw all Oil wells from private citizens and make it jointed own by FG, State, LGA and Community in a ratio of (25%, 45%, 15% and 15%).

Petrobras is owned by the state of Brazil, and are not doing too badly.

How does what you have written up there make NNPC efficient?

Brother this is democracy, you cannot just withdraw license without having litigation and mind you most of this people are powerful people, they will end up frustrating his government. He knows to well it will not be possible to sell NNPC tho. Keep calm Nigeria will get working again by next month

Exactly my point too. NNPC might be corrupt but at least it still belongs to Nigeria and Nigerians. But this is still better than Atiku selling NNPC and turning it into Atiku and Sons Ltd, while the masses continue to suffer. If Atiku is genuine and not a fraud, then he should withdraw all South South oil blocs owned by his fellow Northern Oligarchs and return the ownership to South South states. Imagine the fraud Atiku is trying to carry out. Northerners own most of the oil blocs in the Niger Delta, and then he wants to sell NNPC too to himself and his fellow northerners in disguise.
