Trump Signs Massive Anti-Human Trafficking Law Named After Frederick Douglass. Media Silent.
January 14, 2019

The sheer breadth of the human trafficking crisis is enough to shut up any critic of border security.

At least, you would think.

The open borders Democrats and their mouthpieces in the media certainly are silent when it comes to human trafficking but, stunningly, continue to advocate for a less secure border.

And they wonder why we don’t trust them?

The reality is, Trump has done significantly more than his predecessors to combat this devastating global crisis, but you hardly ever hear about it.

Furthermore, as the media tries to convince you that walls are immoral, ineffective, racist, mean, and literally Hitler or something, trafficking is indeed happening at crisis proportions across our Southern border and it absolutely must be addressed by a moral society of laws.

Like ours.

If he can’t have his wall (and that still remains to be seen as we enter into week two of the shut down), Trump remains committed to combating human trafficking however he can.

CBN reports:

President Donald Trump has signed into law the Frederick Douglass Act, a bill authorizing $430 million to combat human trafficking.

The measure, which was introduced by Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ), is designed to boost government efforts to prevent sex and labor trafficking and protect victims both nationally and internationally.

The $430 million will be used to address the following:

Shelter and counseling for victims;
Training airline employees to spot potential victims;
Oversight to make sure government purchases do not employ traffickers;
Prevention education for children;
Facilitation of anti-human trafficking supply chains in US commerce.

Who the bill was named after shows you just how cheap all the Democrats identity politics are, because if this bill was being signed by a Democrat, they’d be virtue signalling their butts off:

The legislation is named in honour of Frederick Douglass. Born into slavery around 1818, Douglass fought to abolish the institution. Serving as an American diplomat, he was the US minister and consul general to Haiti for three years…

The release also included a statement from Kenneth B. Morris Jr., the great-great-great-grandson of Douglass.

"If my great ancestor were here today, I believe he would be driven to lead the struggle against contemporary forms of slavery," Morris stated.

But please, tell me more about how border security is immoral.
