No one is above the law, be you the President, CJN or even Senate President. If the NBA President and CJN are guilty, they should be made to face the music.

If Buhari too is guilty, Nigerians should kick him out next month
Good Nigerian, i hope you continue like this whether is from right or left wing.

As it is, the chief Justice of Nigeria(CJN) is above the law.

The National Judicial council (NJC) which is constitutionaly vested with the power to discipline the Chief justice before CCT can properly try him is ironically being chaired by the same chief Justice(i.e the CJN is the chairman of the NJC).

Virtually all members of the NJC were appointed following the chief Justice recommendation.

The question is - how can the NJC discipline the CJN?

So many things is just wrong with Nigeria. Our problems too many.

CJN is not above the constitution.

So many dafts here thinking they are intelligent. How do we tell these mentally weak and brain-damaged idiots that Buhari is a law breaker?

Whether the CJN is a thief isn't the issue but Buhari is abusing the law in trying to punish him .

Once a coup plotter, always a law breaker.

He didnt steall the money? leave that for him to defend now. Which one is your own there. Even a thief also works hard to steal money.
Yes he didn't steal the money o and the petitioner didn't say it was stolen. The claim is that he didn't declare it in the CCT form. CJN had spent over 35 at the bench, these are estacode that your President, V President and all his entourage enjoy whatever they travel on official assignment or goes on leave.
But somehow, it still baffles me how he forgot that large sum of money.

According to Oshiomole, APC looters are above the law, so stop all these hypocrisy about fighting corruption because Nigerians know that it is more of fighting against all perceived opponents or those with dissenting / independent views.

I am more concerned about the image you uploaded. So where has it helped we Yoruba's? Losing a sit as strong as the minister of finance to a Northerner in clearly sting style to remove one of our own and we keep quiet is what you are celebrating abi? You people should continue but the silence of the Yoruba's is not stupidity. NHIS boss was accused yet he was re-instated, National River basin corruption was handled as if no news about it. Let us keep destroying our own.
Shame on you and I advise you take down that rubbish.
For your information no body is against the trial of the CJN all we are saying is the process adopted is flawed and suspicious.

Truly, It's not Buhari's fault that the person you answer his name doesnt leave any legacy for you and your siblings to have a good life.
We, Baba's children are proud of what he did in his youth to make sure we have a good life.
Don't blame us for another father that decided to be playing pool, drinking and smoking around in the village while his mates joined the military and others did something good for the future of their children.

what did buhari do in his youth to provide tens of millions of naira for Yusuf to buy a power bike with but was unable to buy a nomination form from his party on two occasions and which was not covered in his assets declaration? Your arguments smack of crass stupidity! undecided

The idea is to be stupid but not to be shamelessly stupid. You, my friend, are shamelessly stupid. The comparison here is faulty. The minister was guilty and due process was followed. Let due process be followed in the CJN’s case. He didn’t steal the wealth. He worked for his money. His mistake is not declaring and let the law try him first. Your media trial won’t work. The bogus amounts you mentioned is laughable. Nigeria is bigger than you and the rest of you holding this nation to ransome.

Most of them cannot declare some assets becos they cant explain the source of the income

My brother
Fact is that the cost of running government is too high in Nigeria and is not commensurate with their Productivity. Imagine that our Senators earn the highest in the world yet critical bills such as the PIB, Transport Bill etc are pending. For the CJN, he has himself to blame, Nigerians including me are rightly suspicious because of the speed and the timing.
