A trader buy n orange at the rate of 5 oranges for #90. Eight of the oranges are bad, so she sell the rest at the rate of 4 oranges for #120 and make a profit of #800. Find n.

SOLUTION:
terms(c.p=>cost price, s.p=>selling price)
{
5 oranges = 90;
n oranges = c.p;
c.p = 18n
}
oranges left after spoiling = n - 8;
{
4 oranges = 120;
n-8 oranges = s.p ;
s.p = 30(n-8 ). ;
}
profit = s.p - c.p;
800 = 30(n - 8 ) - 18n;
(n=86.667 _~_ 87)
