ASUU-FG Negotiation (Monday)

The eighth meeting between FG and ASUU on Monday (today) night has ended, but in doubt.

The Minister of Labour after the meeting which ended about 9:00pm told the press that ASUU would be taking back the outcome from their discussion to the Union's members for further consultation.

They however did not reveal what was discussed.

ASUU strike has collapsed, they have infiltrated the union with divide and rule just as they did during the Abacha time.

Some stupid universities have resumed and they are enjoying some increment in their salaries at the detriment of the struggle. Soon if care is not taken the leaders of ASUU will be bundled into jail since with trumped up charges..

That is the story of ASUU, they have no more negotiation power than to call off the strike now because there is no unity in the union. The Nigerian factor thrieves in it.

When they have a new chairman they should come back again. Their most successful strike was under prof Attahiru Jega and that was for obvious reasons.
