Bordeaux of France Nigerian forward, Samuel Kalu’s impressive display in his club’s 1-0 defeat of Dijon on Sunday in a Ligue 1 game at the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux has been rewarded with a place in the Ligue 1 team-of-the-week by Whoscored.com.

Kalu provided the assist for Andreas Cornelius to score in the 77th minute of the game which ensured Bordeaux win and a move up to 10th on the log.

It was the Nigerian’s 12th start in 16 Ligue 1 games since he moved from Gent in Belgium last summer.And the assist was his second.
