Quality representation: We need new set of Assembly members - Assembly candidate

An assembly candidate under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ogun State, Hon. Babatunde Adedola has said that the State House of Assembly new set of members for quality representation.

He spoke at a stakeholders meeting held in Abeokuta, the state capital over the weekend.

Adedola who is contesting the Abeokuta state constituency 2 seat at the house, insisted that the people have been deprived of quality representation hence new members must be voted for.

He said if elected, he would pay attention to the development of the youth and their capacity building.

Adedola stated that he joined the race to give his people quality representation and facilitate development programmes to the constituency.

" I am contesting for the house of assembly in Ogun state to give the people of Abeokuta south constituency 2 proper representation in the house of assembly if elected "

"Well, I have a very good chance to win the assembly seat in Abeokuta south"

" I believe that there is a need for new set of Assembly members for quality and good representation

On his manifestoes, he explained "We are going to engage the youth properly in terms of education, in terms of human development, personal development also in terms of giving them the opportunity to express themselves properly".

He also charged the electorate not to be intimidated on the day of election but rather they believe in themselves.

"Well, everybody that will vote on the days of election should believe in themselves and not be intimidated and also not allow anybody to buy their votes. Our conscience and our future are the important things so nobody can buy your future and nobody should also be able to buy your conscience."

He appealed to the people to go and collect their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs), saying the PVCs is their power to decide their future.

"Nigerians should go out in mass to collect their PVCs, the process is not that much . They should go to their nearest ward or INEC offices in their local government to collect their PVCs. It is important.The PVCs is your power to decide your future. Go and collect your PVCs".
