Information reaching ABN TV indicates that Abia State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB) office has been sealed by High Court Umuahia.

The teams was led by Chief registrar of the court Mr. Benson Anya with bailiff. Our source who pleaded anonymity also indicated that the operational vehicles of ASUBEB were impounded. This is not unconnected with the non-payment of rents owed to their former landlord, one Mr. Nkwachukwu Agomuo at Adelabu estate in the state capital, where they occupied before relocation.

Vehicles said to have been towed out of the premises include two Toyota Camry (Official cars) and three buses.

The one year rent rent we gathered runs over a million Naira. As at the moment of this report, the office remains sealed and operations stagnated.

All efforts to reach the Board Chairman ASUBEB, Mr. Kelechukwu Nwosu proved abortive.
