I know I am not the only one who thinks Buhari is lacking energy , less informed, mentally weak and out of touch with the situation of the country. But in spite of this obvious condition of the president it's appalling that he still has many loyalists which makes the sensible ones wonder whether it is the same Buhari that we are all referring to. Something must be wrong somewhere and we need to figure it out. In my opinion I have come to realize that there are different kinds of people supporting Buhari, and we need to point them out for our understanding.

1. THE BENEFICIARIES
This category of supporters are those who are benefiting directly from Buhari's government, or they have relatives who are sucking the breast milk of Buhari's government and they excess milk trickles down to them. They will never want to see Buhari leave. It will be better Nigeria burns to ashes than giving up the breast milk.

2. THE TRIBALISTS
Some tribalists are supporting Buhari just because they think Buhari will hand over to Igbos in 2023. The other group of tribalists are supporting Buhari because they want a south westerner to remain the vice president of Nigeria. It's better everyone dies in Nigeria than to lose the Vice President slot. This makes you wonder how the office of the Vice President will turn the south west to Dubai. We have had a president from the south west and it made no difference on the region. So I wonder how the office of the Vice President will make any impact at all.

3. THE UNENLIGHTENED AND UNEDUCATED
I will describe these ones as the biggest army of Buhari's supporters and also a major hindrance to Nigeria's progress. In fact these ones are the root cause of every problem in Nigeria. Without enlightened and modernized citizens the country is not going anywhere near advancement. The citizens are actually the ones in charge of a country and decides its direction and not even politicians. These unenlightened citizens will support Buhari and other incompetent politicians and when you try to find out from them why they support Buhari they wouldn't give you any reason. They support Buhari because he is just Buhari.

4. THE TWO PARTY SYSTEM ADHERENTS
These folks are those who only see two parties in Nigeria. Those of them who don't like Atiku will be considering Buhari as the only option available. They think it will be better to vote in Buhari than voting Donald Duke or Sowore or other candidates 30 times brighter than Buhari.

5. THE DUMB ONES
If you are a Buhari supporter and none of the categories above applies to you then you definitely belong to this category.

Ask an average Buhari supporter why he wants to vote Buhari and his answer will tell you why we need to inject more than 50% of our budget into education

Education is not about going school. It's more more about having a modern mindset and being enlightened. Many people in Nigeria go to school but their mindset is still not modern.
