Yesterday, a politician ordered his police escort to beat up an Atiku campaign bus driver along Douglas road in Owerri, for allegedly obstructing his convoy.

According to a man who shared the video, he narrated that the road was actually busy as a result of the visit of PDP's President candidate, Atiku Abubakar to the state for his campaign rally.

The policemen who came down from a hilux van, moved straight to the driver and started manhandling him with series of gunshots released in the air.

When the situation became calm, passerby's surrounded the driver who was in tears, to know what his offence was and why he was treated that way.
