Uruan should be ready to be used and dumped like they did to Ogoni and some other Niger delta areas. Immediately they assumed power,they did boju boju and quickly rushed to Ogoni promising to start the clean up immediately,but alas it was just deception,nothing has been done and they haven't returned. We Nigerian are the real enemy of the state because we elect leaders with our heart not with our head. We let tribalism destroy our sense of reasoning.

My suggestion are these;

1. The governor is making a political statement and not an "Oil & Gas economic statements". A Governor cannot just announce oil discovery...and say exploration is about to start.
2. The presence of Oil rig in a locality does not automatically translate to oil discovery.
3. A state will ideally not fund Oil exploration. So who are the people behind it the said "exploration"?

In just 4 years, Nigeria has faced some of its greatest economic challenges since 1983 all because of one tyrant in Aso Rock. Watch how the economy will rebound again when Atiku becomes president, then you'll tell me if that tyrant in Aso Rock wasn't the one who caused the recession, economic downturn, high job losses, high inflation and poverty on Nigerians. Compare 1983 and 2015, you'll realize a chameleon will always be a chameleon.

During my NYSC days, I served in Secondary School Adadia, Uruan LGA, Akwa Ibom State and I must tell you that that area is blessed with both Oil and Agriculture. Long live the people of Adadia.
