I have this condition for many years now, usually it makes my scalp flakes and sometimes it itches. When ever I leave my hair uncut for long, I see white patches on the scalp after shaving. Here is a picture of my scalp... It has been going on for about 12years now

So you have never oiled or creamed your hair for 12 years?

Do you bathe regularly with warm water?
If yes it could be the culprit

If what you have is strictly dandruff,its nothing to worry about. I asked a couple of trained barbers here about the cause and each one said its warm water bathe.

For dandruff though try and get an anti dandruff shampoo.
