In a short video clip posted by the Presidential aspirant of the
Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) on his Facebook page this evening (24.01.2019), he and the other two aspirants Omoyele Sowore, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu, together pledged that they would work towards producing a consensus candidate as a unifying front for the 2019 Elections against the two major parties APC and PDP.

Before now, Fela Durotoye had hinted of a potential withdrawal from the race following the earlier withdrawal by Oby Ezekwesili from the race.

Recal that candidates had entered into a voluntary agreement under the Presidential Aspirants Coming Together (PACT) umbrella to produce a common candidate, but that has suffered a number of setbacks in terms of procedure of implementation as many of the aspirants pulled out of the arrangement.

In this exclusive piece sent to Pulse, Moghalu says PACT was put together by persons who had colluded among themselves to assassinate his presidential ambition.

Good thinking. But there're people waiting in the wings to cling that position (from the Southwest). They think it's "their time".

Even with this coliation, these bright greenhorns dont have the requisite experience and broad political base to win a major exercise of a presidential election.

Sowore, Fela Durotoye & Madam Oby all contributed in entrenching the catastrophic Buhari government Nigeria have today.

Having seen the abysmal state the govt have dragged this nation into & failure of the old brigade politicians e.g Jerry Gana, Atiku to give way to the new generation breed,The PDP is the only viable platform until Nigeria gets it right.

Even with Oby joining the coalition, they would still fail! Which of these candidates has a strong footing in the North? None! Even in the South, these guys are mostly known on media and favoured by the few enlightened (not educated) ones who wants the best for this country.

These coalition, if sustained and nutured across all regions, would make an impact in 2023, not now

Surely contesting for national/state assemblies seats and local government chairmanship would have paid these gentlemen
