you can go to court
Nobody is going to any court, we are now officially under anarchy and everything goes. Nobody will refer to any constitution in their action moving forward. Buhari has taken the poisoned chalice and will face the consequences.

He has no right to suspend the CJN.

Where was procedure for Suspension of the CJN mentioned in the Constitution?

The Executive, Judiciary and Legislative arms of govt are the three arms of govt.

The Judiciary cannot suspend the head of the Executive and vice versa.

please go and read Section 11 of the Interpretation Act, Cap 123, Vol. 8, LFN, 2004, you will see the answer to your question. The president can suspend the CJN indefinitely. What happened when Jonathan suspended Justice Ayo Salami then?

Your entire argument is useless and null and void.

Buhari has the power to SUSPEND and not REMOVE.

Your argument talks about removal.

Buhari by virtue of the constitution can suspend the CJN and he has done just that.

Which law, certainly not the constitution , says the President has the power to suspend a justice of the supreme court or even a magistrate court.

You guys should be ashamed of yourselves for supporting this coup in any way.

From a concise reading of the constitutional provision stipulated by the OP above, it can be validly deduced that President Muhammadu Buhari has absolutely no powers whatsoever to remove nor suspend the CJN without the recommendation of the prescribed offices.

Fellow Nigerians this is the change APC has brought to us. A recourse to military rule and a show of daylight gangsterism.

It is also sad to note that the VP is an authority in constitutional law matters and kept mum over the issue.

We Nigerians should not take this, it is up to us to ensure that the Fulani control of our nation is demystified come February....

Will you shut up and stop adding what is not found in the law.

The law was specific when it declared what buhari needed to do in terms of REMOVING the CJN.

However that law said nothing about SUSPENSION.

A suspension is not a removal. Under law those are two different things.

He is still the CJN but on suspension. While an Interim CJN would take his place pending the outcome of his case at CCT.

And will not sign electoral act months to election. Hmmm. I fear for Nigeria.

Buhari has failed this country big time. Those of you clamouring for his reelection think twice before you act.Almost all the heads of Government Agencies are northerners which is unacceptable. The north has the most number of illiterate persons in this country and yet our current President is from there. Someone that cannot even take part in a political debate nor give a correct speech.I wonder how he speaks in meetings with world leaders.A sane person will not vote for the dunce we have as President.Whatever you say to defend him won't stop the fact that Buhari has spoilt this nation more than what it was before.
