Lectures have commenced in earnest at the Imo State University, Owerri (IMSU) Study Centre of the National Teachers' Institute for the 2019/2020 academic session.

This is contrary to notions that the lectures were suspended due to the ASUU strike.

As a matter of verified fact, the Centre Manager Dr. Ohuakanwa Chijioke E. has been on ground to oversee affairs of the programme.

In addition to the release of the programme time-table for the 2019/2020 session, courses unit loads, recommended texts and so forth has been released by the IMSU Centre.
