On a serious note, this Administration fails due to the tragic but hilarious contradictions!
It's not hidden that the administration is unabashedly Caliphate; Arewacentric and absolutely Islamic. Well, it might have been a notch less ridiculous if the Islamocentric disposition had tilted a little Southwards. The Muslim Umma in this administration masquerading as federal officials is almost wholly Caliphate.

Obviously, an Islamic Emirate is in play here. What's there to be abashed of? The Christians, South and the unfortunate caught-in-the-middle folks of the Middle Belt are nothing but an unfortunate inconvenience in this administration.
Most of the actions and activities of this federal administration are based on Koranic Injunctions and not on even a Constitution we all love to hate. What's the point in appointing the Muslim Umma into secular positions when all that was required was to declare a United Emirates of Arewa even within the Nigerian Federation. Then most of his appointments would make more sense. All these allegations of Islamization and Nothernisation would disappear forever!

The pseudo CJN really ought to have been the Grand Khadi of the Arewa Emirates since the dude is more informed in Sharia Jurisprudence than anything else. Unconfirmed rumors have it that he wasn't called to the Bar yet he's a great Islamic Judge! Why not make him a Grand Khadi rather than saddling the poor dude with the onerous task of interpreting the numerous secular laws of Nigeria? He's a great Islamic judge; a Grand Khadi extraordinary! Good man, he is!

Really, this president would have very little opposition should he throw-in the towel and declare the position of the President of Nigeria unsuitable, and beneath his Islamic purity and declare himself the Sultan Mohammed of the United Arewa Emirates! The Caliphate and other Muslim adherents would be ecstatic. There would be an Arewa Emirates where they could practise pure and unadulterated Islam without the sinful ways of the Kafirs in the South and Middle Belt! The development in the UAE would accelerate at a mind-numbing rate!
In fact, the greatest advantage of having a United Arewa Emirates would be that they would still be an integral part of Nigeria while having a huge slice of the oil income. And greater political powers to determine outcomes.
In my opinion, all the necessary factors to formally declare a United Arewa Emirates are in place so why not simply go ahead and quit the pretensions of secularity that actually give a bad name to the administration?

As a matter of regional and Islamic importance, the Emirs and governors of the core Sharia States in the North should convoke and ensure the declaration of the UAE! Then simply transmute most of the Islamic officials in Abuja as those of the United Arewa Emirates! After all, the rest of us would still be corralled in the Bantustans we ridiculously call "states". The Bantustans would continue to pay taxes to the United Arewa Emirates as the conqueror of the land. This is in the Spirit of the 1999 Constitution anyway; the only difference would be no more federal allocations!

Well, this makes more sense than these embarrassing pretensions of a federal government. As things stand, we have the Government of the United Arewa Emirates. This government would do better if properly designated; all the officials are ineffective because they're wrongly designated. It's time they demanded that they be properly designated and addressed! They really find it difficult to function in a plural society...this is an injustice against their natural inclinations.
Dear President, there's no shame in going all the way; declare a United Arewa Emirates within Nigeria. And we shall all rejoice at the Great Leap Forward! What in tarnation are you waiting for?

Just so you know...

Apart from being the greatest achiever in the expansion of poverty, sectionalism and national division, the greatest contribution of this federal administration is that they have proved beyond reasonable doubts, that the 1999 Constitution is absolutely useless, and Nigeria as structured is impossible!
All other federal administrations put together could not achieve this; this administration has lasted just under 4 years, and has proved to the whole world the stupidity of a Constitution written by imbeciles with criminal intent.
