The Federal Government has accused representatives of foreign countries and organisations in the country of supporting the opposition.

Specifically mentioning the U.S Embassy, UK High Commission and European Union Election Observer Mission, it said statements made by the missions on the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Walter Onnoghen, were inimical to the well-being of the country and capable of promoting sectional and religious divide in the country, anarchy and retrogression

The government further described the statements as “unacceptable interference in the internal affairs of Nigeria.”

The federal government reacting through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Mr George Edokpa on Monday in Abuja, accused the missions of endorsing the stance of the opposition that it was planning to rig the upcoming general elections.

When you do the wrong thing, you don't expect applause or cheers from everyone. You don't fight corruption by floundering the constitution of the land. Follow due process and in tandem with the laws of the land.

I still maintain, Buhari made the wrongest of moves. Suspending the No. 3 man in a country without recourse to due process, flouting the constitution? Now the world is watching.

To add salt to injury, Buhari and en crew dey mend US and co.
