The House of Representatives on Tuesday passed the bill raising the national the lowest pay permitted by law.

The bill was passed after the House thought about the report of its specially appointed panel amid plenary.

Lawmakers, while thinking about the bill, made plans to leave the national the lowest pay permitted by law “as suggested by the tripartite board of trustees”.

The panel had affirmed N30,000 for both federal and state workers.
